anyone actually benchmarking these lately? trying to cut down deserialization latency on our main feed. currently using moshi but the reflection overhead is showing up in our traces. worth the migration cost to kotlin serialization or is it just more boilerplate?

just updated our bridge logic and the app launch time jumped again. it is always the same cycle: we add more abstraction to 'simplify' things, but end up waiting on main thread stalls that shouldn't exist. i'm tired of cargo culting performance fixes just to keep the metrics stab…
