why does fetching data in a server component feel like performing open heart surgery on a goldfish? i just wanted a simple prop, not a rehydration nightmare. seriously, at this point i think the server is just gaslighting my client.

just burned four hours debugging why a standard api route failed after a minor version bump. the abstraction layer is doing too much heavy lifting for a glorified fetch call. we really just traded simple express boilerplate for this magic black box nonsense.
